In an effort to improve efficiencies, today's General Folding Carton converters are shifting medium to high volume production from platen to rotary die-cutting. New high speed printing presses are running at speeds up to 400 m/min (1'320 ft/min). To run folding cartons at these speeds, requires accurate and well engineered tools. Madern offers the best-fit technology for each carton application - MP or crush cut, solid or segemented dies or a combination of all.
